Over 6,300 EU residents enter Belarus visa-free since 1 January 2024

MINSK, 15 January (BelTA) – Since 1 January 2024, a total of 6,305 residents of the EU countries neighbouring Belarus have taken advantage of the visa-waiver to visit Belarus, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.

They include 3,415 citizens of Lithuania, 1,242 citizens and 288 non-citizens of Latvia, as well as 1,360 citizens of Poland.

Since the start of the visa-waiver initiative, 806,911 foreigners have visited Belarus visa-free, including 498,626 citizens of Lithuania, 186,043 citizens and 56,403 non-citizens of Latvia, and 65,839 citizens of Poland.

The State Border Committee reminds that Belarus extended the visa waiver until 31 December 2024.
