Nordic Film Festival in Minsk to feature eight films

MINSK, 17 April (BelTA) – The Northern Lights Nordic Film Festival will be running in the Mir movie theater in Minsk from 21 to 24 April, BelTA learned from the Kinovideoprokat company of the Minsk City Hall.

The main goal of the festival is to show the Belarusian audience the latest Nordic films which tell about the life and mentality of the inhabitants of Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Iceland. The slogan of the Northern Lights Nordic Film Festival 2016 is Everyday Beauty. The festival organizers believe that most mundane things have their charm. We just need to look more closely. The eight films that will be screened during the festival will try to convince the audience of this.

The Northern Lights Nordic Film Festival in Belarus will feature:

21 April - Village People and Land Ho!

22 April - Itsi-Bitsi; Out of Nature,

23 April - My Skinny Sister; Distractions,

24 April - Virgin Mountain; Sex, Drugs and Taxation.

The festival will also be held in Vitebsk on 21-24 April. Its organizers are the Nordic Council of Ministers Office in Lithuania jointly with the Liaison Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Finland in the Republic of Belarus.
