Minsk to host Belarusians of the World festival 7-10 September
MINSK, 26 April (BelTA) – The Belarusians of the World festival will take place in Minsk on 7-10 September, Belarus' Deputy Culture Minister Vasily Chernik said at a press conference.
“We have got the information about all the Belarusian diasporas which are officially registered in the Belarusian embassies abroad. The second phase which includes the sending out of the invitations is starting now. The festival is expected to attract about 300 participants,” Vasily Chernik said.
The festival will officially open in the Belarusian State Philharmonic Hall on 7 September. There are plans to invite the world famous artists who were born in Belarus. The representatives of the Belarusian Diaspora will give concerts in agro-towns and district centers in the following days of the festival.
The exhibition of the works of Belarusians who live abroad will be arranged at the National Art Museum of Belarus during the Belarusians of the World festival.
