Minsk Arena to host SES Business Forum 31 May

MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) – The Business Forum of the Single Economic Space (SES) “Eurasian Economic Union: Business Expectations” will take place at Minsk Arena in the Belarusian capital on 31 May, BelTA has learnt.

Partaking in the event will be the Prime Ministers of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. The forum will be attended by nearly 600 representatives of the business community of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space, including leading companies and transnational corporations.

Attending the forum are also expected representatives of major Russian and Kazakh companies, in particular, Sberbank of Russia, VTB Bank, Biotech Group of Companies. Delegations of the neighboring states of the Single Economic Space will include heads of ministries and agencies, political and public figures, leaders of business associations and unions, representatives of the chambers of commerce and industry, international organizations, businessmen and economic analysts.

The major objective of the forum is to strengthen cooperation ties in the Single Economic Space, discuss issues concerning doing business in the Customs Union. The program of the forum envisages a plenary meeting with the participation of the heads of government of the three countries. The plenary meeting will be attended by representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission, government bodies and business communities of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan.

The two previous forums were held in Moscow (2011) and St Petersburg (2012).

The forum is organized by the Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers) of Belarus, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Economy Ministry of Belarus, other agencies and departments.
