Belarus secure second medal at Children of Asia Games

MINSK, 27 February (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes won the second medal at the 2nd Winter Children of Asia International Games on 27 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus.

Belarus’ Vasily Borokhovsky clinched bronze in figure skating with the total of 204.48 points. Pavel Gavdis of Belarus finished 7th among 15 participants.

The 2nd Winter Children of Asia International Games are taking place in Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Mezhdurechensk and Tashtagolsky Municipal District. The games will feature 57 medal events in ten sports. The Belarusian team comprises 68 athletes competing in eight sports. Taking part in the games are 865 athletes from 13 countries.
