Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka into Wimbledon semifinals

MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) – On 12 July, World No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka powered past USA's Madison Keys in straight sets 6-2, 6-4 in an hour and 27 minutes in the Wimbledon quarterfinals, BelTA has learned.

In the semifinal the Belarusian will face either Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan or Tunisian Ons Jabeur.

The second semifinal will feature a clash between Czech Marketa Vondrousova (42) and Ukrainian Elina Svitolina (76), who defeated Poland’s Iga Swiatek in the quarterfinals and Belarusian Victoria Azarenka (20) in the Round of 16.
