Good Friday in Orthodox Churches

On the 5th day of the Holy Week the Orthodox believers commemorated the Passion and Death of Christ. Traditionally the Matins of Holy and Great Saturday were read in the evening with parishioners recounting the events of the Crucifixion of Jesus on Golgotha.
