Foreign war veterans commemorated in Gomel

The Gomselmash Palace of Culture in the Belarusian city of Gomel hosted an event in honor of foreign war veterans on 13 February. A total of 3,680 soldiers from Gomel fought in Afghanistan. As many as 121 of them were killed. The participants of the event observed a minute of silence in memory of the soldiers killed in that war.
