Friendly ‘residents’: ‘gentlemen’ trash cans say thanks for clean streets
11 Sep 2018

The Grodno Plant for Waste Disposal and Mechanical Sorting rolled up unusual trash cans in the run-up to the city’s 890th anniversary. These small ‘gentlemen’ are dressed in tailcoats and hold a walking cane in one hand and a cover in the form of a hat in the other. They raise this hat to welcome everyone who has used their services. The words “Thank You” are written on them in Russian, Belarusian, Polish, English and Chinese.
