International sand art exhibition in Minsk

Captivating and light sand art, which has come to life thanks to 38 artists from various countries, is on display in the art gallery University of Culture in the Palace of the Republic. The exhibition was solemnly opened on 9 August.

Apart from appreciating the work of the artists visitors can try sand drawing, too. Sand drawing develops hand muscles and, certainly, visual thinking. If accompanied by the right music, the process can become genuine meditation.

Apart from workshops visitors can attend meet-the-artist events, musical evenings, and lectures. Artists from Belarus, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine will demonstrate their works till 22 August.
