Presentation show of Miss Belarus 2018 finalists

The ONT TV channel viewers will see a top-class pageant featuring the country’s most beautiful and charming girls on 4 May. The finale of the Miss Belarus 2018 beauty contest is expected to be special: unusual technical elements and ideas will make the two-hour show truly unforgettable.

The show will explore the four elements: fire, earth, water and air. It will also touch upon the theme of native land (the year of 2018 has been declared the Year of Native Land in Belarus). As sport and beauty always go hand in hand, the show will also have a separate part dedicated to the forthcoming 2nd European Games MINSK 2019.

More than 700 beauties took part in the auditions but only 30 made it to the final. However the main challenges are yet ahead: the contenders for the Miss Belarus title need to prepare thoroughly for the contest. The Belarusian beauties will hone their skills in runway walking, take part in photo sessions, and have numerous try-ons. Experienced stylists, directors and stage managers will help the finalists get ready for the show.

Ivan Podrez, head of the ONT Special Project Directorate, said that the Miss Belarus 2018 selection criteria include knowledge of history, foreign language skills, communication and self-presentation skills?. According to the organizers, a girl should have this “special Belarusian vibe” and combine such qualities as spirituality, intellect, creativity and kindness.
