Miss Belarus 2016 National Beauty Contest

The most beautiful young women of the country gathered at the Palace of Sports in Minsk on 19 June to give a stunning performance that was broadcast on the ONT TV channel. The show was full of intrigue. After many moths of rehearsals, it finally broke the main intrigue by revealing the name of Miss Belarus 2016.

The Miss Belarus 2016 title was given to Polina Borodacheva, 23, from Minsk. She will represent Belarus at Miss World. As she received the crown, Polina Borodacheva also took on another honorable mission to attend social, cultural and charity events in Belarus and abroad.   

The tenth national beauty contest, which is a biennale event, featured 26 beauties from different parts of Belarus. In February, the National Beauty School held a casting to select almost 100 beauties from 400 girls from all regions of the country. Finalists were named three weeks later. This was followed by months of hard training (catwalk shows, sports training, choreography classes, photo-shoots, meetings with designers and stylists). No effort was spared to make the final show really breathtaking.
