Air Force Day at the Borovaya airfield with the cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky

On the third Sunday of August Belarusians celebrate Air Force and Air Defense Day. A grandiose performance took place at the Borovaya airfield near Minsk in honor of the sky defenders. Oleg Novitsky, who grew up in the Belarusian town of Cherven, recently returned from his second trip to the International Space Station and attended the celebrations as a guest of honor. The test pilot is now on vacation in his native country. He came to congratulate his colleagues and share exclusive information about life on board the ISS with the guests and presented rare gifts to the Cosmos pavilion in the renewed aircraft technology museum.
