MINSK, 8 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ Tatsiana Khaladovich won women’s javelin throw competition at the IAAF Diamond League 2018 Bislett Games in Oslo on June 7, BelTA has learnt.
The Belarusian athlete unleashed a national record of 67.47m in her best effort breaking her own national record of 66.34 set in Amsterdam in 2016.
China’s Huihui Lyu took second with 65.11m, while Czechia’s Nikola Ogrodnikova was third with 61.56m.
Tatsiana Khaladovich, who is in the world top list in javelin throw, will take part in a competition that will take place in the renovated Dinamo Stadium on 22 June. The event will bring together teams from Belarus, Ukraine, the Baltic Sea states and the Balkan region.
