MINSK, 17 December (BelTA) – Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergei Martynov paid a working visit to Spain on 16 December, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
Sergei Martynov held negotiations with his Spanish counterpart Miguel Moratinos. The two sides considered a wide range of issues related to the Belarusian-Spanish relations as well as the cooperation of Belarus with the EU and other European organizations.
The Foreign Minister of Belarus also met with representatives of the Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain to discuss the opportunities and prospects of boosting trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries. Sergei Martynov met with President of the Railway Infrastructure Administration of Spain Antonio Gonzalez Marin to mull over the prospects of cooperation in the railway transport.
