Lukashenko presents 2015-2016 Union State literature and art awards in Vitebsk

VITEBSK, 14 July (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko presented 2015-2016 Union State literature and art awards at the opening of the 25th international festival of arts Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk on 14 July, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian leader conferred an award on People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Fedoseyev, artistic director and chief conductor of the Pyotr Tchaikovsky State Academic Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra.

People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Fedoseyev, artistic director and chief conductor of the Pyotr Tchaikovsky State Academic Bolshoi Symphony OrchestraA Union State award was also presented to the creative team of architect, archpriest and rector of the Church of All Saints in Minsk Fyodor Povny, sculptor and Honored Art Worker of Belarus Vladimir Slobodchikov, and architect Igor Morozov holding the State Prize of Belarus.
