ISLAMABAD, 5 October (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif have confirmed the eagerness of their countries to strengthen the ties of friendship in different fields, reads the joint statement of the leaders issued after the official talks on 5 October, BelTA has learned.
The statement reads that the meeting proceeded in an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding. The parties had a comprehensive and thorough conversation about all aspects of the Belarusian-Pakistani relations. The leaders stressed mutual willingness to further develop and strengthen the ties of friendship between the two countries in politics, trade, economy, social and humanitarian affairs, and other fields.
Alexander Lukashenko and Nawaz Sharif emphasized the importance of signing a number of documents to expand cooperation in agriculture, manufacturing, combating crime, education, customs and banking matters, and postal services.
