Belarus and Czech Republic may raise status of diplomatic missions

MINSK, 30 July (BelTA) – The Czech Republic intends to raise the status of its diplomatic representation in Belarus, Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Valery Voronetsky told reporters on 30 July.

“I can confirm that the Czech Republic took a decision to raise its diplomatic status in Belarus to the level of ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary,” said Valery Voronetsky.

Taking this fact into consideration, the Belarusian side is going to consider the raising of its diplomatic status in the Czech Republic.
