Belarus’ aerial jumpers into Vancouver 2010 Olympics finals

MINSK, 23 February (BelTA) –Three Belarusian aerial jumpers have qualified for the finals of the Vancouver 2010 Olympics Men’s Aerials.

Dmitri Dashinski has scored 238.33 points and advanced into the finals with the 4th result, Alexei Grishin was 7th with 234.27 points and Timofei Slivets was 12th (221.91).

The leader of this season’s Freestyle World Cup Anton Kushnir has suffered a failure. After first jump he was heading the qualification rankings, but failed to show good performance in the second attempt. As a result, he has scored 213.90 points and finished only 15th. 

Two Belarusians have qualified for the finals in Women’s Aerials. Alla Tsuper (she is 1st after the qualification) and Assol Slivets (7) are set to part in Women’s Aerial finals on the night of 25 February. Men’s finals are scheduled for 26 February.
