2014 IIHF World Championship tickets go on sale

MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) - Tickets for the 2014 IIHF World Championship which is to take place in Minsk (Minsk Arena and Chizhovka Arena) on 9-25 May will be available starting from 4.00 p.m. on 30 September, BelTA reports with reference to the official website of the Directorate for the 2014 IIHF World Championship.

Event Tickets will go on sale first. Tickets will be available in all retail points of TicketPro, the official ticket operator of the 2014 IIHF World Championship, on TicketPro’s website and through dealer networks.

Event Tickets will range in price from Br3.74 million to Br24,48 million at Minsk Arena, and from Br1.8 million to Br12.9 million at Chizhovka Arena. Apart from all the preliminary-round games of the Belarusian national team, All Belarus Games Plus (11 matches) ticket holders will receive an opportunity to attend the quarterfinal (No.4), the semifinal (No.2), the third-place match and the final regardless of the fact whether the Belarusian team are there or not. Such tickets will range from Br2.9 million to Br13.8 million.

Submission of applications for skyboxes at Minsk Arena opens on 30 September and for those at Chizhovka Arena on 15 October 2013.

The second ticketing phase will be launched on 14 October 2013. Group Round Tickets for all preliminary-round encounters at each of the arenas as well as Final Round Tickets at Minsk Arena will go on sale on this day. Belarus Group Round Tickets will also be made available starting from 14 October. Such tickets envisage all the preliminary-round games of the Belarusian national team (seven matches) and range in price from Br595,000 to Br3.815 million.

Tickets for games of other national teams will be sold starting from 28 October 2013. The holders of such tickets will have an opportunity to attend seven preliminary-round games of the selected team.

Single Game Tickets as well as tickets for quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be the last to go on sale on 25 November.

The 2014 IIHF World Championship ticket program envisages tour packages with game tickets included. The official travel partner of the 2014 IIHF World Championship in the Belarusian state-run company CentrKurort. Apart from game tickets, tour packages will include accommodation, travel tickets for all types of transport in Minsk, transfers, sightseeing and other services.
