MINSK, 20 May (BelTA) – In the final game of Group B the Belarusian team lost to the Russian team and ended up third during the ice hockey world championship in Minsk on 20 May, BelTA has learned.

Russia vs Belarus - 2:1 (0:0, 2:0, 0:1).

Minsk Arena. Attendance: 14,679.

Belarus: Koval (Lalande, 36.14); Korobov – Graborenko, Sergei Kostitsyn – Kovyrshin – Volkov; Denisov – Gotovets, Andrei Kostitsyn – Stas – Platt; Yevenko – Usenko, Stepanov – Kitarov – Ugarov; Karev, Yefimenko, Osipov.

Russia: Bobrovsky; Denisov – Chudinov, Kalinin – Shipachyov – Plotnikov; Kutuzov – Medvedev; Tikhonov – Malkin – Kulemin; Yakovlev – Belov, Zaripov – Anisimov – Shirokov; Dadonov – Burmistrov – Kuznetsov; Zubarev.
