Presidential election 2015 in Belarus

MINSK, 10 September (BelTA) – The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus registered Nikolai Ulakhovich as candidate for the post of the President of Belarus on 10 September, BelTA informs.

Nikolai Ulakhovich received more than 149,000 of valid signatures in his support. According to CEC Secretary Nikolai Lozovik, Nikolai Ulakhovich’s candidacy meets all necessary requirements of the Belarusian electoral law. “Nikolai Ulakhovich submitted all necessary documents which were verified,” said Nikolai Lozovik.

After receiving a certificate of a presidential candidate, Nikolai Ulakhovich thanked all the members of his initiative group for their work and the citizens of Belarus for their support in his 2015 presidential run.
