MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) - Belarus’ Yauheni Karaliok won bronze in the Men’s Scratch at the 2nd European Games in Minsk on 27 June, BelTA has learned.
Christos Volikakis of Greece took a solid lead in the last laps at the Minsk Arena velodrome to take gold. Silver went to Filip Prokopyszyn of Poland.
Yauheni Karaliok, who was in the lead for a long time throughout the race, had to fight for the third place in the last lap.
Yauheni Karaliok clinched gold in Apeldoorn in 2018.
