Vasil Bykov's tombstone

The tombstone brought from the Baltic Sea is a gift from the town of Helsinki. The epitaph reads the name, the date of the birth and the death of the writer who spent two years in Finland. The 1.5-metre natural stone was decorated by Finnish sculptors. To have such a gravestone was Vasil Bykov’s last wish.
