Memorial capsule from Trostenets placed in All Saints Memorial Church crypt (2016)

A capsule containing soil and ashes from the Trostenets death camp was placed in the crypt of the All Saints Memorial Church in Minsk on 18 March 2016. The ceremony was dedicated to an international commemorative event for the victims of the Trostenets death camp. Prayers over the capsule were read byMetropolitan Filaret, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus; Archbishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz of the Minsk-Mogilev Archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church; Grigory Khaitovich, Chairman of the Jewish Religious Association in Belarus; Mufti Abu-Bekir Shabanovich, Chairman of the Muslim Religious Association in Belarus; and Pastor Manfred Zabel of the Evangelical Church in Germany.
