World’s first monument to condensed milk in Rogachev
A unique sculpture has been erected in the Belarusian town Rogachev – the world’s first monument to condensed milk timed to the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Rogachev Milk Canning Plant. Muralist Gleb Otchik has implemented one of the most famous Belarusian brands as an unusual monumental sculpture. The structure is an exact copy of the famous blue-and-blue tin, which is as high as about 4 meters and weighs 250kg. It was made out of glass mosaic – smalt – in an antique style, which used to be used in Belarus only for interior design. During the solemn unveiling ceremony a time capsule was put inside. It bears the message telling descendants to keep up the supreme quality of the product and praises condensed milk. The time capsule is supposed to be opened for the 100th anniversary of the enterprise. Video
