MINSK, 9 October (BelTA) – One can feel the true spirit of victory in the Belarusian state museum of history of the Great Patriotic War. The statement was made by Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as he visited the museum, BelTA has learned.

“I have visited many museums across the globe but only in the Belarusian museum of Great Patriotic War history I felt the true spirit of victory. By visiting all the halls I lived through all these events,” said Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The Turkmenistan President remarked that he likes the fact that the halls of the museum are aligned in chronological order.

“When in the Belarusian state museum of history of the Great Patriotic War we bow to the immortal heroism that the courageous sons and daughters of our nations demonstrated in fierce fighting against the fascist invaders in the name of freedom and independence of the native land,” the Turkmenistan President left the note in the Distinguished Visitors Book of the museum. “Exhibits of this museum are invaluable for educating the young generation in the spirit of patriotism and humanism, friendship and brotherhood”.
