Snopkov: Belarus and China enter a new level of cooperation
MINSK, 19 January (BelTA) – Over the 25 years of diplomatic relations Belarus and China have established trustworthy strategic partnership and mutual cooperation, Deputy Head of the Belarus President’s Administration Nikolai Snopkov said as he spoke at an official meeting to mark the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Belarus and China, BelTA has learned.

Nikolai Snopkov “Through all of these years we have worked hard, gradually building, developing and strengthening cooperation in various spheres, and we have reached great results. The Belarus President’s untutored shrewdness and foresight outlined a special place for our country in building relations with China. We are celebrating the anniversary with a high level of trust-based comprehensive strategic partnership and mutual cooperation between the two countries, which was laid down in the declaration signed by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Chinese President Xi Jinping in September 2016,” Nikolai Snopkov noted.

According to Nikolai Snopkov, a high level of bilateral relations covers almost every area of cooperation. In his words, Belarus and China enjoy strong friendship and trust in the political sector. The two countries support each other on key issues of international agenda, maintain interstate contacts on high and supreme levels. The Belarusian-Chinese intergovernmental committee on cooperation has been set up to coordinate bilateral interaction.
