Rubinov: Belarusian food products are popular abroad due to their high quality

MOLODECHNO, 15 April (BelTA) - Belarusian food products are popular abroad due to their high quality, and many of them have already become recognizable brands, Anatoly Rubinov, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, said during his working trip to Molodechno on 15 April, BelTA has learnt.

Anatoly Rubinov visited the Molodechno Dairy and praised the high level of production process there. In 2013 the enterprise invested $8 million into modernization. Over the last five years the Molodechno Dairy has been carrying out modernization of the main factory and its branches in Volozhin, Vileika, and Naroch (Myadel District). Each enterprise has installed new production lines to manufacture new types of dairy products, most of which are exported. The Molodechno Dairy manufactures practically all types of dairy products under the trademarks Molodeya, Narochanskiye Ugoshcheniya, Volozhinskoye, and Vilyusha.

Molodechno Dairy “The Molodechno Dairy is an advanced enterprise. The whole production process has been automated, and everything is at the highest level. The incoming material quality and outgoing goods control is very stringent, and the people are enthusiastic about their work,” Anatoly Rubinov said. He also noted that due to the high quality many Belarusian food products have become recognizable brands. There were even attempts to counterfeit them

The Chairman of the Council of the Republic also visited mechanical engineering company Amkodor-Unikab and said that the enterprise is an exemplary one, as it proves that a private project can be profitable providing that it has a good manager.

Amkodor-Unikab Amkodor Holding Company plans to produce all the necessary machine assembly components. In 2014 Amkodor is going to invest $300 million in the creation of new plants. The main company will be involved only in the production of bridges, cabs, and gearboxes. All the other machine components will be manufactured by other Amkodor plants.

During his trip to Molodechno Anatoly Rubinov also visited the Oginski Music College and School No.14 of Molodechno.
