“Multi-faceted cooperation in the CIS has always been a priority for Russia. Cooperation unites our closest partners and has long proved to be a key instrument in the strengthening of good-neighborly mutually-beneficial relations between the former Soviet Union countries,” Vladimir Putin said.

The President of Russia noted that the organization expands the range of its activities every year. Today the joint work in the CIS covers every significant area of interstate communication.
