Professor Ioffe marks thaw in Belarus-U.S. relations

NEW YORK, 23 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian-U.S. relations have changed for the better, Professor of Radford University Grigory Ioffe told BelTA.

According to the professor, the Belarusian-U.S. investment forum in New York is possible as a mutual effort and the U.S. readiness to assist the success of the event. “We can see a thaw in the bilateral relations. Perhaps it is not fast-moving but the progress is evident and it is great,” he said.

“I would like this trend to get sustainable development, with all those stereotypes about Belarus going away,” Grigory Ioffe added.
