Myasnikovich wants restart of Belarus-U.S. relations

NEW YORK, 22 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich expects a restart in the Belarus-U.S. relations. The Belarusian Premier made this statement at the opening ceremony of the first Belarus-U.S. investment forum on 22 September, BelTA has learned.

“I sincerely believe that this forum and a series of other major political events initiated by Belarus, including the Ukraine peace process, will result in the restart of the relations between Belarus and the United States,” the Premier noted.

Addressing the participants of the forum, Mikhail Myasnikovich underlined that Belarus is ready to do its utmost to become the best place to implement U.S. investment projects. “We are open for a dialogue. So is our country,” he emphasized.
