Marianna Shchetkina: Belarus needed a state administration system reform

MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – Belarus needed a state administration system reform, Belarusian Labor and Social Protection Minister Marianna Shchetkina told the TV channel Belarus One.

In her words, salaries will rise thanks to the optimization of the personnel requirements of the state administration system.

The Minister remarked that the reduction of personnel requirements had not been unexpected, they were aware of it as early as last year and every executive was planning further actions, including the measures to find employment for the people to be dismissed. “As many as 51 people were affected by the job cuts in the Labor and Social Protection Ministry. At present nine of them still need employment,” said Marianna Shchetkina. “We plan to find a solution within two months”.

Salaries are the main source of income for individuals. “It is necessary to do everything to offer jobs to people,” stressed the official. Meanwhile, citizens have the right to choose the options that suit them best.
