Lukashenko: I will never tolerate insults to Belarusian state, people

MINSK, 3 February (BelTA) – I will never tolerate insults to the Belarusian state and people, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the meeting with the members of the public, representatives of the Belarusian and foreign mass media on 3 February, BelTA informs.

“I never ask for trouble. I have already seen a lot and burned my fingers several times. I can retreat and be flexible if necessary, but I will never tolerate the insults to the Belarusian state and people,” Alexander Lukashenko stressed.

The President spoke in detail about the Belarusian-Russian relations, focused on certain disagreements between the countries, and outlined possible ways to resolve them. In particular, the head of state commented on the oil price talks, conflicts regarding the delivery of foodstuffs, and Russia’s decision to establish a border zone along the frontier with Belarus.
