CHISINAU, 24 September (BelTA) – Belarus can be a good example for other countries in using Moldova’s potential for the promotion of joint products on the markets of the third countries, President of the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, former Economy Minister Valeriu Lazar said at the Belarusian-Moldovan business forum in Chisinau, BelTA has learned.
The signing of the free trade agreement with the European Union facilitates the duty-free delivery of products to the EU market. Apart from that, the free trade agreement was signed between Moldova and Turkey. Valeriu Lazar remarked that new geopolitical realities in Moldova open up trade opportunities for the country and its partners.
The official said that Moldova is eager to use these opportunities together with its conventional and new partners. The President of the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry stressed that Belarus is one of the main trade and economic partners of Moldova. The countries have created a good platform for advancing cooperation to a brand-new level. In particular, productive industrial cooperation between Minsk and Chisinau will help Belarus sell joint products on the EU market. Moldova, in turn, will be able to sell goods on the market of Customs Union. Valeriu Lazar deems it necessary to implement new ambitious projects between the two countries.
