Dmitry Golukhov: Good manageability of the Belarusian economy should be exploited in full

MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) – The advantages of the good manageability of the Belarusian economy should be exploited in full. The opinion was voiced by Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Dmitry Golukhov at the 10th international science to practice conference held in Minsk on 10 April to discuss the state regulation of economy and ways to increase the performance of economic entities. The conference is scheduled to take place in the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Belarus on 10-11 April, BelTA has learned.

The conference was focused on discussing economy regulation in conditions of the Single Economic Space. “Now the Single Economic Space is in the phase when the common market for transporting goods is evolving. Belarus has to preserve its competitive ability primarily in business operation terms, the manageability of the economy, and effective operation of enterprises,” explained the Deputy Economy Minister.

According to Dmitry Golukhov, further actions of the state should be focused on the maximum optimization and raising the transparency of budget processes, the development of a wise policy for regulating prices, and the development of cross-subsidizing. “There are many areas but all of them begin with the modernization of the system for macroeconomic planning,” added the Deputy Economy Minister. “We will get an effect from the forecasts that we make for five years and we can make three-year forecasts”.

Dmitry Golukhov noted that the conference is a good platform for economists, scientists, government officials, and representatives of the private sector from Belarus and other countries to share their views on arguable aspects of economic planning, suggest ways to address issues that may be implemented in reality in the future.

The conference has been arranged by the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Belarus and the Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (Employers). The forum gathered 250 people, including people from Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Poland, Bulgaria, China, Estonia, and Moldova.

Participants of the forum are expected to discuss the state regulation of the modern economy, public private partnership, green economy as the basis for the sustainable development of the state, ideology in state administration, legal support for state administration, information and communication technologies in state administration and economy.
