Davydko: International attention is to be locked on forthcoming summits in Minsk

MINSK, 21 October (BelTA) – International attention will be locked on the forthcoming summits in Minsk, Chairman of the Belarusian Television and Radio Company Gennady Davydko, who took part in Alexander Lukashenko’s meeting with heads of the CIS media, told media on 21 October, BelTA has learnt.

According to Gennady Davydko, Alexander Lukashenko is a devout supporter of integration. That is why it was extremely important for the participants of the meeting to hear his vision of many current issues as well as his view regarding the prospects for other countries to join the Customs Union.

Gennady Davydko called the event a dialogue, a friendly meeting between CIS representatives. “We are all friends, but every country has its interests and it is normal,” he said.

In his words, the dialogue of the President of Belarus with the heads of the CIS media is a so-called warm-up ahead of big political events in Minsk.
