Big Chinese companies ready to invest in Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park

MINSK, 20 June (BelTA) – China’s biggest companies are willing to invest in the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park, head of the Chinese delegation, Chairman of China National Machinery Industry Corporation SINOMACH Ren Hongbin said as he met with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on 20 June, BelTA has learnt.

“All of us want to construct the park as soon as possible and increase investments,” Ren Hongbin said. He noted that the Belarusian President closely monitors the construction of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park; China’s President also has big expectations from this project. According to Ren Hongbin, most of the members of the delegation represent the companies that would like to set up resident companies in the park.

Ren Hongbin thanked Alexander Lukashenko for meeting with the representatives of China’s biggest companies. He also welcomed Belarus’ economic achievements. Ren Hongbin emphasized that Chinese companies would like to contribute to the implementation of the Belarus-China highest-level agreements to promote strategic partnership.

China National Machinery Industry Corporation SINOMACH is one of China’s biggest state-run corporations. It was established in 1997. It is one of China’s leading developers and manufacturers of mechanical engineering equipment. The company consists of nearly 50 wholly-owned or holding subsidiaries and has over 140 overseas service organizations all over the world. SINOMACH implemented projects in more than 140 countries in Europe, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa and America.
