MINSK, 26 September (BelTA) – During the years of independence Belarus has secured colossal accomplishments in its development. The opinion was voiced by Zhang Gaoli, First Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, at the meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 26 September, BelTA has learned.

The Chinese official expressed kind-hearted greetings and best wishes on behalf of China President Xi Jinping and Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang. Addressing Alexander Lukashenko, Zhang Gaoli underlined: “On the eve of my departure Xi Jinping said that you are a great friend of his and I can talk to you about anything, can exchange views on many things”.

Zhang Gaoli remarked he feels comfortable in Belarus and thanked for the warm welcome extended to the Chinese delegation.

The delegation led by Zhang Gaoli, First Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China arrived in Belarus on 26 September for a three-day visit. The broad spectrum of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation will be discussed during meetings and negotiations in Minsk.
