MINSK, 2 October (BelTA) – The Eurasian economic integration must improve the living standards of people, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Belarusian National Assembly Vladimir Andreichenko said at the first meeting of the autumn session of the House of Representatives on 2 October, BelTA has learned.
“A huge attention is to be drawn to the ratification of the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty because integration is expected to result in the serious improvement of living standards of people. Therefore, it is essential to ensure the maximum efficiency of the Belarusian economy in new conditions,” Vladimir Andreichenko said.
Apart from that, he said that the efforts to modernize and raise the competitiveness of the national economy will be considered not only from the legislative perspective. There are plans to hold parliamentary hearings in November 2014 to discuss the promotion of public-private partnership.
