Andreichenko: Belarus, Vietnam seek to develop strategic partnership

MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) – Belarus and Vietnam seek to develop strategic partnership, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko said during his meeting with Huynh Ngoc Son, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, BelTA has learnt.

“Belarus is interested in the development of cooperation with Vietnam in all fields, especially in tourism,” Vladimir Andreichenko said. He emphasized that the Belarusian side expects to see more rapid and efficient development of trade and economic relations between the two countries. “We have already achieved significant results in this field, but we want to reach a higher level of cooperation,” Vladimir Andreichenko said.

The Chairman of the House of Representatives added that Vietnam is viewed as a reliable partner in Belarus. Special attention is paid to mutual visits at high and the highest levels. Vladimir Andreichenko informed that in the nearest future the Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam will visit Belarus.

Vladimir Andreichenko met with Huynh Ngoc SonIn turn, Huynh Ngoc Son expressed gratitude for the cordial reception and noted that the visit of the Vietnamese parliamentary delegation is aimed at further development of the Belarus-Vietnam relations.
