Young CIS designers to present their collections during Belarus Fashion Week
MINSK, 10 April (BelTA) — Young designers from CIS countries will be able to present their collections during the Belarus Fashion Week (BFW), BelTA learned from the BFW press center.
The Belarus Fashion Week will support designers of the international fashion week Volga Fashion Week and give winners of the contest of young designers a chance to present their collections in Minsk.
The final stage of the contest of young designers will take place in the Russian city of Kazan on 30 April. The judges of the contest will be leading world-famous experts in fashion and style including representatives of the Belarus Fashion Week.
The international fashion week Volga Fashion Week is the main fashion event of Russia's Volga Federal District. The professional event is focused on popularization and promotion of designer clothes of the pret-a-porter and pret-a-porter de luxe varieties.
The Volga Fashion Week traditionally gathers experts of consumer goods industry, popular designers and beginners, glossy magazine editors and fashion portals critics, culture experts, stars and bloggers from all the CIS countries including Belarus. The event includes outstanding fashion shows, discussion areas, roundtable discussions with the participation of art specialists, master classes of fashion design theorists and practitioners with the opportunity to make purchases in the pop-up stores.
