MINSK, 23 March (BelTA) – More than 21,000 COVID-19 tests have been carried out in Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

“So far, Belarus has performed more than 21,000 COVID-19 tests. The testing began on 23 January. It should be mentioned that Belarus is among the top ten countries in terms of the number of tests performed. As many as 22 patients have already been discharged or are getting ready to be discharged from the hospital. Earlier they tested positive for COVID-19, but after treatment their tests came back negative. Another 59 people are under medical observation and getting treatment,” the ministry noted.
