MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) - Foreign citizens seeking vaccination in Belarus need to register online with https://vaccination.by/form/index.html and get confirmation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Healthcare Ministry.

The Healthcare Ministry informs that, in accordance with the president’s decree No. 251 of 1 July 2021, Belarus waived visa requirements for entry, temporary stay and departure from Belarus for foreign nationals seeking vaccination against COVID-19 during the period from 15 July 2021 to 31 December 2022.

To enter Belarus for the purpose of vaccination against COVID-19 (both first and second jabs), foreign citizens must submit an application in the information system at https://vaccination.by/form/index.html and receive a letter confirming the date, time and place of vaccination (name of the healthcare institution).

"A foreign national will be able to enter the country not earlier than two days before the confirmed date of vaccination or no later than the specified date. The term of a visa-free stay in Belarus shall not be more than 5 days from the date of entry," the Healthcare Ministry noted.

Before crossing the Belarusian border, foreign arrivals are required to present a valid travel document and an original or a copy of a medical certificate proving that the arrival has tested negative for COVID-19. The PCR test must be performed no earlier than three days before the arrival at the Belarusian border.

Foreign nationals will be vaccinated with the combined vector jab Gam-COVID-Vac.

Belarus has designated healthcare facilities to carry out vaccination of foreign citizens in all regions of the country. Foreigners can choose the city where they want to get the vaccine in the application form.

The approval for vaccination is issued by a doctor after an interview with a patient, a medical examination, and an analysis of medical documents (if any), taking into account a patient’s indications and contraindications for vaccination.

After getting the two doses of the vaccine, patients will receive a vaccination certificate.
