EYOF: Five more medals for Belarus

EYOF: Five more medals for BelarusMINSK, 27 July (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes have bagged five more medals on the third day of the 2017 European Youth Olympic Festival in Gyor, Hungary, BelTA has learned.

Vladislav Shakhnitsky and Anastasia Zhuk clinched gold in the Mixed C2-500m, setting a new record. Anna Pashchenko, Irina Shkred, Maksim Khutsky and Ilya Kozlovsky claimed the Mixed K4-500m bronze. Anastasia Zhuk took bronze in the Women’s C1-500m.

Earlier, Belarusian swimmer Anastasia Skurdai clocked 1:01.76 to take silver in the 100m Backstroke. Belarusian judokas Glafira Bakhur and Vladislav Dzvonik claimed bronze medals in the -44kg and -50kg weight categories respectively.

Today Belarusian athletes will continue competing in athletics, judo, cycling, artistic gymnastics, and swimming.
