Belarus will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the second time. Minsk debuted as the host of the contest in 2010. The organizers are actively preparing for the contest. This year the number of participants will beat last year’s. For the first time Junior Eurovision will feature 20 countries. The host country has chosen the venues, the stage design and, most importantly, selected its representative.

Daniel Yastremsky was born in Cincinnati, the United States. He lives and studies in Minsk. Daniel has already participated in TV shows like Ukraine Got Talent. Kids and New Wave Junior. He also graduated from the music school (piano department) and attended the popular Igor Krutoi Academy. Under the slogan of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest Light up! the Belarusian representative will perform the song called Time.
