Humanitarian project of the state institution "Stolbtsy Territorial Social Services Center

Project name: The Key to Life

Implementation period: July 2019 - June 2020

Applicant: Stolbtsy Territorial Social Services Center

Project goal: Vocational counseling of people with disabilities, subsequent employment

Project objectives:

  • To create the conditions for vocational counseling, psychological and social rehabilitation of people with mental and physical disabilities;
  • To assist in vocational, mental and physical adaptation through training programs and joint activities during daytime stay in the center;
  • To promote integration into the society and raise the independence of people with combined disorders.

Target group: People with disabilities (combined disorders) aged between 18 till retiring age

Brief description of the project activities:

А) Fitting printing workshop with equipment:

1. Buying printing equipment:
- multifunctional device (inkjet)
- laminating machine
- stitcher
- booklet maker
- cutter
- computer for making product design

2. Buying consumable materials:
    - office paper
    - cardboard glossy, matt, colored
    - springs metal, plastic (for stitching)
- film for lamination

3. Buying furniture:
    - bookcase
    - 3 tables
    - 3 office chairs

B) Involving an instructor for teaching to use the printing equipment

C) Producing printed materials (on order) and for retail:
     - calendars
     - booklets
     - photo books
     - office books
     - notebooks

D) Product sale.

Once the project is over, the printing workshop activities will be financed from the product sale proceeds.
