Project name: A living Thread of Generations

Implementation period: 2019-2020

Applicant: State  Educational Establishment "Secondary School No. 1 of the town of Starye Dorogi named after Hero of the Soviet Union Fyodor Kulikov"

Project goals: To build up the educational capacities of the museum of the school through its modernization; to drum up students’ interest in the history of school, district, and the country; to develop and strengthen children's feelings of love for their native land.

Project objectives:

1. To update the system of civil-patriotic education using the resources of the school museum.

2. To develop the physical facilities and infrastructure of the museum by launching new forms of using expositions

3. To make the museum more visible and accessible by launching an online option.

Target group: students, teachers, students’ parents of Starye Dorogi District, graduates of educational establishment.

Brief description of the project activities:

1. Development of the layout of museum expositions.

2. Major repair of the school museum.

3. Purchase of office equipment and furniture for the museum.

4. Installation of new museum equipment.

5. Developing an online version of the school museum (electronic database of museum holdings which will contribute to the accounting and preservation of the museum collection).

Total amount of financing (USD): $40,000

Co-financing: $4,500
