Belarus’ postal service issues European Games postage products

MINSK, 22 May (BelTA) – The publishing center Marka of the Belpochta postal service has issued various products in cooperation with the Minsk European Games Organizing Committee, BelTA has learned from Belpochta press service.

The new products include postcards, stamped cards and envelopes, souvenirs. Belpochta has also issued four stamps depicting popular spectator sports. The stamps colors match those of the 2nd European Games symbols – the logo and the Bright Year, Bright You motto.

The stamps go with an augmented reality technology. With the help of the Ar Marka Belarus application, a specially created 3D image appears in augmented reality when a smartphone camera focuses on the stamps.

The Minsk main post office will hold a dedication ceremony during the European Games.

Minsk will host the 2nd European Games on 21-30 June. Over 4,000 athletes from 50 countries will compete for 200 medal sets in 15 sports.
