MINSK, 6 November (BelTA) – Head of the Department for America at the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Oleg Kravchenko met with director of the Office for Eastern Europe at the U.S. Department of State Alexander Kasanof in Minsk to discuss the state and prospects of the bilateral cooperation, spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing on 6 November, BelTA has learned.

“The meeting was part of regular working consultations between the relevant agencies,” Dmitry Mironchik said.

He noted that the Belarusian Foreign Ministry views the visit of the U.S. diplomat to Minsk as a standard working visit of the newly appointed head of the Office for Eastern Europe at the U.S. Department of State to get acquainted with the region.
